Senior Advisor to President Crow

Executive in Residence

Professor of Practice, W. P. Carey School of Business

May Busch is a Senior Advisor and Executive in Residence in the Office of the President. Additionally, she serves as Professor of Practice at the W.P. Carey School of Business at ASU where she lectures on leadership, and works on interdisciplinary initiatives across the university with an emphasis on leadership, entrepreneurship and enhancing the engagement between business and academia. She chairs The Idea Enterprise™, a program for bringing experienced business leaders to ASU to help turn its best ideas into forces for change in the world. May also sits on the steering committee of The Leadership Academy, a program that trains emerging leaders at ASU to increase the university’s capacity so that it may deliver on the promise of a New American University. Through her consulting practice, May Busch & Associates, she offers workshops, keynotes, consulting and executive coaching to high-potential and high-performance leaders and their teams with a focus on leadership development, career success and organizational strategy. Prior to this, May had a 24-year career in investment banking, most recently as COO of Morgan Stanley Europe.

Chelsea Chamberlain

Chelsea Chamberlain is an Assistant Director in the Office of the Knowledge Enterprise Architect and the Office of the President at Arizona State University. In addition to The Idea Enterprise™, Chelsea is also a member of the University Design, which focuses on advancing institutional design, creating new capabilities, and strengthening ASU’s culture while functioning as a facilitator and catalyst by assisting leaders and units across ASU progress towards more fully towards achieving the vision and goals of the ASU Knowledge Enterprise. Specifically, she is helping to design and build ASU’s leadership ecosystem. Chelsea runs the Advanced Leadership Initiative - a high-level, senior initiative designed to develop and support proven leaders who can sustainably advance ASU as a New American University. Chelsea also assists with the Launching Leaders Program. From 2014-2016 Chelsea managed the Leadership Academy. Prior to joining the President’s Office, she worked for ASU Parking and Transit Services. Chelsea holds a BA in Communications from ASU and a MA in Strategic Public Relations from the George Washington University.

Program Coordinator

Brenda is a Program Coordinator for the Advance Leadership Initiative in the Office of the President at Arizona State University. In addition to her work with ALI, she also assists in coordinating The Idea EnterpriseTM – a service that brings together experienced business leaders with ASU’s faculty and staff with big ideas to help advance them into action. Additionally, Brenda helps in coordinating the University Design Institute which focuses on advancing new designs in higher education globally. Prior to joining the President’s Office, Brenda worked as a program coordinator at GoDaddy focused on advancing the company’s strategic goals through incentive programs and events. Brenda holds a BS in Marketing from Grand Canyon University.
